Welcome to Cash for Cars Newcastle. By requesting a quote, booking a vehicle collection, using our website, or accepting our offer, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Our Services

Cash for Cars Newcastle purchases unwanted, damaged, scrap, accident, unregistered, old, and used vehicles throughout Newcastle and surrounding areas. We provide free vehicle collection within our normal service areas unless otherwise agreed.

3. Vehicle Ownership

You confirm that:

• You are the legal owner of the vehicle or have the authority to sell it.
• The information provided about the vehicle is accurate.
• The vehicle is free from any finance, encumbrance, or legal disputes unless disclosed before booking.
• You have valid identification and ownership documentation where required.

Cash for Cars Newcastle reserves the right to refuse the purchase if ownership cannot be verified.

4. Vehicle Quotes

All quotes are based on the information supplied by the seller.

The final purchase price may change if:

• The vehicle condition differs from the description provided.
• Major mechanical or structural damage was not disclosed.
• Important parts or components have been removed.
• Incorrect vehicle details were provided.

Our driver or vehicle assessor will determine the final value at the time of inspection.

5. Payment

Payment is made at the time of vehicle collection after inspection and acceptance of the vehicle.

Payments may be made by bank transfer or other approved payment methods in accordance with Australian laws and regulations.

6. Vehicle Collection

Once a booking is confirmed, we schedule a tow truck and allocate drivers specifically for your collection.

Please ensure:

• The vehicle is accessible.
• Keys are available where applicable.
• Required documents are ready.
• Someone authorised is present during collection.

7. Purchase Order Authorisation & Cancellation Policy

When you complete and submit our Vehicle Purchase Order Form, you are authorising Cash for Cars Newcastle to proceed with the vehicle purchase process. This includes:

• Processing your agreed vehicle payment.
• Scheduling and confirming your vehicle collection.
• Allocating a towing vehicle and driver for the pickup.
• Reserving a collection time and dispatch resources.
• Incurring operational and administrative costs associated with arranging the collection.

Once the Purchase Order has been submitted, our team immediately begins arranging the towing truck and collection process for your vehicle.

If, after submitting the Purchase Order, you decide to cancel the booking, change your mind, sell the vehicle to another buyer, provide incorrect information that prevents collection, or otherwise make the scheduled pickup impossible, you agree to reimburse Cash for Cars Newcastle for the costs already incurred in arranging the collection.

In such circumstances, a booking and towing administration fee of AUD $300 will apply. This fee covers expenses including, but not limited to:

• Tow truck allocation and scheduling.
• Driver and dispatch costs.
• Administrative processing.
• Fuel and operational expenses.
• Loss of the reserved collection time that was allocated for your booking.

The cancellation fee becomes payable once the Purchase Order has been submitted and collection arrangements have commenced.

By submitting the Purchase Order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including this cancellation policy and the associated recovery of costs.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Seller Responsibilities

The seller is responsible for removing all personal belongings before collection.

Cash for Cars Newcastle accepts no responsibility for any personal items left inside the vehicle after collection.

9. Vehicle Condition

Unless otherwise agreed, vehicles must be substantially complete.

Additional charges or revised offers may apply where major components such as the engine, gearbox, catalytic converter, wheels, battery, or other significant parts have been removed.

10. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service where:

• Ownership cannot be verified.
• Safety concerns exist.
• Vehicle details were intentionally misrepresented.
• The transaction appears fraudulent or unlawful.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Cash for Cars Newcastle is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses.
• Delays caused by weather, traffic, accidents, or events beyond our control.
• Loss of personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Privacy

We collect personal information only for the purpose of providing quotes, arranging vehicle collection, processing payments, and complying with legal obligations.

Your information will not be sold to third parties.

13. Website Information

While we aim to keep all information accurate, we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, current, or free from errors.

Prices, offers, and service availability may change without notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
